Aloe there, my name is Sonia! I am a Seattle native (go PNW!) and I was always surrounded by plants growing up because my mom is the OG orchid queen. I developed my own love for houseplants a few years ago when I moved into my first house and thought I needed decor to "liven" things up. My love for plants quickly grew and I went from 3 to 80+ plants (tbh I stopped counting)!

I started OH MY PLANTA because I was having a difficult time finding cute and quirky plant related everyday items (like socks, hats and pins). I figured if I was having a hard time, other fellow plant lovers were as well, and voila! The shop ideation began in 2018 and I launched in June 2019.

My goal is to help like-minded houseplant lovers find cute and quality novelty goods, so that houseplant lovers everywhere can wear their passion on their sleeves (or feet).
